I commend to readers the response of the Cambridge Primary Review Trust to the Secretary of State's proposals for a new primary curriculum.

There has been an astounding collective response from the profession to Mr Gove's proposals, from academics, from teachers, and from teacher unions, all expressing serious concerns and misgivings about the negative impact on children of what is proposed for the primary curriculum. The consultation is now closed. So, we wait now to see if this has been a genuine consultation or not.
